Ways To Relax While You Are In Bangkok

As with most capital cities, Bangkok can get a bit hectic, and it seems like there is always something going on. However, there will come a time when you need to relax and recharge your batteries, and you can do this in many ways in Bangkok. Below are some ideas to help you relax in Bangkok that will leave you feeling refreshed and ready to cope with whatever life throws at you.

Enjoy A Japanese Bathing Experience

If you have never tried an Onsen bath, it is something that you may want to try. The traditional Onsen uses volcanic spring water and is an excellent way to relax. When you are looking for a relaxing Onsen, Sukhumvit has a few options you can try, and you will love this bathing experience from Japan. Ensure you follow the rules for the Onsen, which means no washing in the tub, and you will leave ready to take on the world.

Spend An Afternoon Enjoying A Relaxing Spa

You can also consider treating yourself to a half-day spa, which is another excellent way to relax. There are many spas throughout the city, so finding something suitable not too far away from you is simple. There will be a variety of treatments available, including:

  • Thai Massage
  • Oil Massage
  • Hot Stone Massage
  • Manicure
  • Pedicure
  • Facials
  • Body Scrub

Select from the list which treatments you want to enjoy and relax as you are pampered and treated like a VIP, and you may even want to make this a regular thing.

Relax On Top Of The World

Another way to relax while also enjoying a spectacular skyline view of the city is to go to Bangkok’s highest rooftop bar. The CRU Champagne Bar Bangkok is on the 59th floor of the Centara Grand Hotel, Central World, and offers stunning 360-degree views of the cityscape. Enjoy a few drinks while you take in the scenery, and feel your troubles melt away. CRU is not the only rooftop bar in Bangkok, but being the highest, it certainly does offer the best view of the city; just make sure it is not raining when you go.

Head To The Driving Range

Whether you are an avid golfer or not, heading to the driving range is an excellent way to relax and get rid of some of your tension. There are many driving ranges throughout the city, and it is relatively cheap to get a bucket of balls and hire a club. It is perfect when you feel frustrated and need to unwind, and you can take out all your frustration smacking those little white balls as hard as you can.
